Concept
The disconnector unit SR852 is designed to separate non intrinsically safe interconnections direct in hazardous area in combination with a purging system.

Ex e relay contacts
For this purpose the SR 852 has 8 respectively 16 galvanically separated relay contacts, which open if the control voltage is low.

Save power off
The opening is safe with one fault, because there are two separate independent serial relay contacts for each interconnection. (according EN 954-1, category 3 )

Simple cascading
Using the terminal pair 9/19 and 10/20 it is possible to cascade several disconnector units.
