It is pleased to announce that ISEP is able to obtain IECEx certification via our notification body. We are able to offer our customers both the ATEX and IECEx certification from now on.

IECEx is an international Conformity Assessment Scheme covering Electrical Equipment for Explosive Atmospheres, as the internationally accepted means of demonstrating conformity with IEC Standards prepared by IEC TC31.

ATEX is a set of European Directives relating to Hazardous Area Installations (Explosive Atmospheres). It spells out a set of Essential Health & Safety Requirements (EHSR) which when followed should enable everyone in the industry to operate safely and to avoid incident. Two separate directives have been introduced covering Equipment (94/9/EC) and Safety of Working Operations (1999/92/EC).
